We’ll admit it: we were excited about Leno’s Law, too. And when it failed the first time, we were angry because it’s getting harder and harder to find emissions parts for our 40 year old cars. But when it was signed into law, we all got a little giddy. Too soon?
State Bill 1392, dubbed Leno’s Law, has moved further up the pike than any of the previous state bills aimed at rolling up the smog test exemption. It has passed the Assembly and Appropriations Committee, but still has to get a little further before it passes. Will it?
